15 Weeks
The baby is about 4 inches long now weighing 2.5 ounces and is the size of an apple. It is using all that amniotic fluid to get the lungs ready! His/her legs are finally catching up to the length of the arms so I expect to feel some movement soon. I'm VERY anxious for that!
When people ask how I'm feeling, I respond with "Great!" But I'm secretly a little worried about the baby because I feel absolutely nothing! I have my first sonogram this Friday so I will be sure to give a report of our healthy baby after. I just need to trust God that everything is fine and be grateful that I am having an easy pregnancy! We will find out the baby's gender on September 14th so stay tuned!
If I were to have a 3D ultrasound right now, the baby would look something like this:

I would ask if you could sneak a peek at the gender when you have your sonogram. We found out Evelynne's gender at 15 weeks!
ReplyDeleteOh that's a good idea! I was wondering if we would be able to find out this Friday instead of in September. But isn't a sonogram just audio, not video? I'll ask! I'm dying to find out!!!
ReplyDeleteYou probably won't start feeling anything until close to 20 weeks or so, so don't worry! :) Even with 2 in there I didn't feel anything until 19 weeks but I know it's hard to wait! It's always such a reasurring to hear the heart beat!
